Sustainability is not just a word, it's an every day action.
We develop in the South of France quality products that respect the environment. We propose to our clients products up to 98% from natural origin that follow a strict charter:
0% Paraben - 0% SLS, SLES & ALS - 0% Colorant -
0% Phenoxyethanol - 0% Phtalate - 0% GMO -
0% Animal Derived Ingredients
Founded in 1964, "Nature et Progrès" certifications were the first to establish an Organic Charter for natural cosmetic in 1998. These certifications are granted par the independant organisation Certipaq.
The ISO 22716 Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics guide was introduced to provide guidelines for the production, control, storage and distribution of cosmetic products. The guide places emphasis on the quality of the cosmetic product in relation to the customer, and the traceability and accountability in the production and distribution process of the product.
Oxo-biodegradable plastics degrade then biodegrade TOTALLY and harmlessly - even if discarded as litter or in water, with or without light - leaving NO fragments, NO methane, and NO harmful residues.
SLS and SLES are surfactants that can irritate the skin and this is why they are not accepted in organic charters such as ECOCERT, NaTrue or CosméBio. Only ALS is accepted but he also can be slightly irritant. This is why La Maison has choosen to work with SCS for it's natural products, the only surfactant of this category accepted by Organic Charters that is 100% from natural origin (derived from coconuts).
Our project for tomorrow…
Our goal is to create a product that is 100% from natural origin with 100% plant based packaging. We are currently working with a project to include raw materials from Fair Trade and Responsible Trade by 2019.
